A LESSON IN
LOVE
01
November 2006
Bagpipes play
mournful renditions of "Amazing Grace," they line the streets at
the South Side Irish Parade. Rarely are they the
instrument of choice for a strolling musician at a romantic,
candlelit dinner. But for Kitty Kirk and Dave McKee,
bagpipes helped start a love story that is still going strong 40
years later.

Real People Video
31 March 2004
Back in 1982 NBC's REAL PEOPLE came out to Dave
McKee's home and filmed a wonderful story on the
traditions of Stock Yard Kilty Band. See if you can
recognize Dave Jr, Matt McKee and members of other
bagpipe bands in the Mid-West (it all started with the
yards). Check out the video in our "media"
section.
